Lashing Strap

Lashing straps combine high-strength polyester webbing with zinc alloy cam buckles or ratchet tensioners — purpose-built for lashing cargo inside containers, flatbeds and box trucks. Loop the webbing around the cargo, tension and lock: the load stays fixed to the container or vehicle, resisting sliding and toppling in transit. Ideal for wooden cases, machinery, palletized and other heavy cargo; pairs with dunnage bags for a complete securing system.

  • 100% polyester webbing — low stretch, high strength
  • Breaking strength up to 5,000 kg
  • Zinc alloy cam buckle or ratchet tensioning
  • Abrasion-resistant, UV-stable, all-climate
  • Reusable — economical over many trips
  • Width, length and color customizable

Tezheng lashing straps combine 100% polyester webbing (25/38/50 mm widths) with zinc alloy cam buckles or ratchet tensioners, reaching up to 5,000 kg breaking strength. Built for lashing heavy cargo — wooden cases, machinery, palletized goods — inside containers, flatbeds and box trucks. Low stretch, UV-stable, abrasion-resistant and reusable. Length, width and color customizable. MOQ 5,000 sets; lead time approx. 20 days from production to arrival at port.

Features

Outstanding Strength

Densely woven polyester — the 50 mm webbing reaches 5,000 kg breaking strength, securing even heavy machinery with confidence.

Low Elongation

Polyester stretches little, so straps stay tensioned and don't work loose on long hauls.

Weather Resistant

Abrasion-resistant, UV-stable and moisture-tolerant — dependable performance in ocean shipping and open yards alike.

Easy Tensioning

Cam buckles press tight with one hand; ratchets tension heavy loads with minimal effort — one person can secure heavy cargo.

Reusable

Durable webbing and hardware survive many cycles, driving the per-trip cost down.

Cargo-Friendly

Soft webbing conforms to cargo surfaces without gouging like wire rope or chains — safe for high-value goods.

Best combined with dunnage bags: bags fill the voids to stop shifting while straps lock the whole load down — double protection for long ocean voyages and rail intermodal.

How to Use

  1. Thread the buckle

Feed one end of the webbing through the zinc alloy cam buckle or ratchet spindle, leaving enough length to wrap the cargo.

  2. Wrap the cargo

Loop the webbing around the cargo — straight, crossed or diagonal as needed — and feed the other end into the buckle.

  3. Tension the webbing

For cam buckles, pull the webbing tight and press the buckle down; for ratchets, work the handle back and forth to build tension gradually.

  4. Check the lock

Confirm the buckle is fully locked and the webbing is flat without twists. Coil any excess webbing and re-check before dispatch.

Frequently Asked Questions

Match breaking strength to cargo weight: 25 mm (800–1,500 kg) for light cargo, 38 mm (2,000–3,000 kg) for medium loads, 50 mm (3,000–5,000 kg) for heavy machinery. Tell us your cargo weight and securing method for a free recommendation.

Cam buckles press tight with one hand — fastest for light to medium loads. Ratchets build higher tension gradually — the choice for heavy cargo. The 50 mm webbing pairs with ratchet tensioners.

Yes. The densely woven polyester webbing and zinc alloy hardware survive many cycles, which drives the per-trip cost well below single-use alternatives.

They solve different problems: straps lock the load down to the container or vehicle; dunnage bags fill the voids so cargo can't shift sideways. Used together they give double protection for long ocean voyages. See our container securing guide.

No. The soft polyester webbing conforms to cargo surfaces without gouging like wire rope or chains — safe for high-value goods, wooden cases and finished products.
